La Petite Maison - Guest's Comments

A selection of comments from our 'guest book' - they are all genuine!

John, Amy, Josh and Zach - London, September 2008: This was truly one of our family's best holidays ever. We love the house, the pool and the beautiful grounds. We were lucky to have had sun the entire time - including six straight days of cloudless blue skies and warm temperatures! We look forward to coming back one day soon!

Mark, Ruth, Laura and Matt - Surrey, August 2008: Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. We didn't dare hope that La Petite Maison would be as good as it looked from the web site but it was EVEN better! As well as the pool we particularly appreciated the huge amount of outdoor space (enough for even a 6 year old boy to run off his energy) and the superbly equipped kitchen - we love to cook and found everything we needed to cook a wide range of meals.

Katherine, Michael, Abbie and Milly - Surrey, August 2008: Fantastic, couldn't be better. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Felt like a real holiday .....and the cleanest gîte ever!

Julie, Philip and Matthew - Kent, July 2008:(Matthew writes..) For once my guest book entry at LPM will be very brief, no really. Short and snappy is what it shall be, unlike our peacefully long week and relaxed hosts ...........(it's not short!!) .....once again managed to satisfy my pallet for the entire year with the incomparable Civet de sanglier at Les Maronniers ......(yawn).......and am really looking forward to next year though we have not left yet!

Richard & Trish - Yorkshire, July 2008: Marvellous 2 weeks or was it 10 minutes? This is what real holidays are about. Thank you again, see you same time next year.

Mike, Sue, Arran & Sam - Lancashire, June 2008: From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice from the 2,000,000 gites we could have chosen. Roger and Jeanette made us welcome and then just left us to it. Such a great stay, many thanks.

Richard and Theresa - Sussex, September 2007: Everything was perfect. Thanks for a lovely time.

Mark and Geraldine - Bucks, September 2007: We've had the most fantastic time here at Le Petite Maison, so good in fact that we've hardly left the house. It's absolutely stunning here and we're so sad that our holiday has come to an end. We will definitely return very soon.

Richard & Trish - Yorkshire, July 2007: Going home today - sigh. Best ever - again. Managed to get everything in the car - unbelievable! See you same time next year.

Chris, Ann and Helen - Horsham, July 2007: We arrived on Saturday and, apart from the occasional wine, foie gras and cheese runs, we haven't left the house. It's been such a relaxing week - the most stressful decision being to wash one's hair or take a swim.........Little Helen slept and ate her best ever and chilled by the pool in her first 'shades'. Great place for reflection, will be back. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Richard & Trish - Yorkshire, July 2006: It's impossible to be unhappy here - see you same time next year.

Hans, Ilse, Pieter & Julie - Oudenaarde, July 2006: We enjoyed La Petite Maison and its surroundings. The children were never bored. The pool is the best toy of course. Many thanks and as the first non-English visitors we will make publicity for your holiday home in Flanders!

Pete, Ali, Mike and Michelle - June 2006: Thanks very much. Had a very peaceful holiday, think your place is lovely. You are both very lucky to live in such a great part of the world.

We had a hell of a do!

Roy, Vanessa & Thea - Grimbsy, August 2005: Everything was perfect. Thank you for your enjoyable company. We will be back.

Richard & Trish - Yorkshire, July 2005: We'll be back 2006. Only 50 weeks to go! Wonderful again - QUALITY.

Janis and Phil, Eastbourne - October 2004: Although the weather was cold, the welcome was very warm. We have had a memorable time doing just what we set out to do - NOTHING! With feet up in front of a log fire it's been great. Having been to the area before in the summer, it's been lovely seeing the autumn colours and the birds have been beautiful (especially Mr+Mrs Robin). Love & good luck to you both.

Richard & Trish - Yorkshire, July 2004: Sorry to be going home. We never expected the holiday to be as good as last year. It was even better, still a quality place. We'll be back!
